Breastfeeding multiples

Multiple births account for 2-3% of all births in Australia and most of these infants are born preterm or low birthweight.1 Women are capable of nourishing multiple infants through their breastmilk alone, however many require additional support to establish and maintain breastfeeding with their twins, triplets or more.2,3
