Hi everyone,
Well here we are in Spring and in the countdown to the end of the year that was! Fingers crossed 2021 is going to look a little brighter. I feel like I am repeating myself but I do hope that no matter where you are in Australia you are doing OK. I would like to acknowledge all those who have been working on the front line, in Melbourne especially, and those of you caught in the working from home while educating young children cycle.
We have recently attended a University in Canberra to speak about breastfeeding and what ABA offers families and health professionals. We spoke with approximately 40 midwifery students and provided then with some take-home resources. Let us know if you think we could visit your workplace, or educational facility. Email us at: info@breastfeeding.asn.au.
This month’s new downloadable fact sheet is Night waking of infants and toddlers we are sure this will be a well-used resource.
Have you seen our brand-new video resources which are freely available to share with your clients? Thank you to Dr Lisa Amir for working with us in the production of these five short videos on popular topics — alcohol and medications, nipple shields, tongue tie, mastitis, sore nipples.
We’ve just added some useful information about prescription medicines and breastfeeding women to the Resources section of our website here. You’ll find a list of Medicines Information Centres around Australia that can provide current information about the use of medicines during breastfeeding (or pregnancy).
