Breastfeeding Review

Breastfeeding Review is the peer-reviewed professional journal of the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) and is distributed three times per year, in March, July and November.

Breastfeeding Review publishes articles and information on human lactation and its management, including original research papers, scientific findings, case studies, articles on social and ethical aspects of lactation, reviews and letters. The submission of papers and articles is welcomed; all are subject to peer review.

You will have online access to the published articles and will receive a hard copy, unless you opt-out in your membership profile.

Monthly eNewsletter

Once a month you will receive by email a newsletter. Each month the newsletter will contain news from ABA, and the wider lactation community, along with downloadable lactation fact sheets to support you in your work with families. These fact sheets can be found by clicking on the ‘fact sheet’ tab in the website menu.

You will have member-only access to an evidence-based ‘Feature article’ on a current topic of interest or new research in lactation. These are filed on the website and searchable for finding at a later date.

You will have member-only access to the latest research summaries. These summaries will be based on 4-6 research papers published in the last month. These will also be filed and searchable by topic on the website.
